The Guild meets on the first Monday of the month, October through May, at 3:00 p.m. The regular meeting place is the
Holy Nativity Episcopal Church, 615 Mallery St., Saint Simons Island. Specialty groups meet at designated times and places throughout the month, which may be daytime or evening. Fiber-related workshops are held throughout the year. Newsletters are sent out to members monthly, September through June, to keep members informed of events. Membership is open to all who are interested in the fiber arts. No skill level is necessary and beginners are encouraged to attend and learn.
Dues of $30.00 per year are payable to the Golden Isles Fiberarts Guild (or GIFG) and include access to the online directory and the newsletter. If a printed and mailed newsletter is desired there is an additional charge of $8.00 added to the dues to cover printing and postage. Members of the same household may join for an additional $1.00 per person. Each person should fill out and send in a separate membership form.
