Felting
The felters meet on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 2:30 pm at members' homes. Although the tradition of felt making has been around for thousands of years it is not as familiar to most people as the other interest groups. it is only within the last 40 years that it has seen a resurgence of interest that has taken the art in new directions and along amazing and unexpected pathways. This is not a tradition learned at our grandmother's knee and the purpose of the group is to introduce this art to as many people as possible as we seek to educate ourselves in all aspects of the craft. There are always plenty of supplies available for newcomers to see if this group is of interest to them.
